Sirvoy doesn’t support separate rates for adults and children by default, and child pricing can't be sent to booking channels like Booking.com or Airbnb. However, you can apply child rates for bookings made directly through your Sirvoy booking engine using a few different methods.

Here are three ways to set up child pricing:

Option 1: Use extras for child discounts

Create an extra (for example, “Child Discount”) that adjusts the room rate when children are staying.

1. Go to Settings > Extras and click Add New.
2. Enter a name for each language you support.
3. Under Price, specify the rate adjustment. Use negative numbers for discounts.
4. Adjust the settings:
   • Internal extra: Toggle this on if you don’t want the guest to see it, so only your team can add the child discount.
   • Default quantity: Set to 0 so it’s not added by default.
   • Max per booking: Set to One per guest to prevent overuse.
   • Choice range: Choose Between 0 – max per booking.
   • Bookable with: Select only room types where children are allowed.
5. Configure any other settings as needed, then click Save.

Option 2: Create a coupon code for child discounts

Offer a coupon code that your team or guests can apply at checkout to reduce the rate for children.

1. Go to Settings > Pricing.
2. Click New Coupon.
3. Input a coupon code (for example, “Child10”) and set the discount value.
4. Click Save to create the coupon.

Share the coupon with your guests or apply it manually when creating a booking.

Option 3: Use extra beds for children

If your property allows extra beds, you can price those specifically for children using the Flexible Price model.

To set it up:

1. Go to Settings > Accommodations and click Edit next to the room type you want to modify.
2. In the description, specify that extra beds are intended and priced for children only.
3. Set Guests to the number of standard adult guests, and Max. Guests (incl. extra beds) to include children.
4. Choose Flexible Price as the price model.
5. Set prices based on total guest count, reflecting the lower price for children.
6. Click Save to finalize.
