How Many Rooms Can Sirvoy Handle?

Sirvoy is designed to work smoothly for properties of all sizes—whether you manage a few rooms or hundreds. We support up to 1,500 rooms per account. If your property has a larger capacity, you can easily manage multiple Sirvoy accounts through a single login.

Tip: For large properties, speed up performance by filtering room types on the Rooms, Calendar, and Rates pages.

 

Can Sirvoy Work as an Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS)?

If you need a full-scale POS for shops or restaurants, you'll need a separate system in addition to Sirvoy. However, Sirvoy is a perfect light POS system for adding extra charges directly to a guest’s booking. Use Extras for offerings like rentables, spa treatments, or breakfasts.

Can Sirvoy Work for a Pet Hotel?

Absolutely! With so many animal lovers on staff, we made sure Sirvoy could easily accommodate pet hotels. You can change the system settings so that your “guests” are labeled as pets, such as dogs, cats, or animals. Then you can manage your bookings just like a traditional hotel.

Go to Settings > Booking engines > General options, and change the guest label to fit your needs.

What Languages Can I Use in the Sirvoy System?

Sirvoy is available in several languages, allowing you and your staff to work in the language you’re most comfortable with. Our system supports:

  • Finnish

Each user can select their language under User profile > Edit Profile.

Additionally, our booking engine supports many more languages–there’s no language barrier for your guests when booking directly with you.

Which Currencies Are Supported?

Sirvoy supports any currency. If you don’t see your local currency listed under Settings > Sirvoy account > Localization, just reach out to us, and we’ll add it for you.

Note: It’s important that the currency setting in Sirvoy matches the currency used by any connected booking channels to avoid any discrepancies.

 

Does Sirvoy Have an Open API for Integrations?

While Sirvoy doesn’t offer an open API, we do support the iCal format for sharing room availability. We also provide a URL callback API (webhook API), which can send booking details in JSON format to external systems. This feature is often used to integrate with systems like self-check-in kiosks, keyless entry systems, and HVAC controls, helping properties automate various tasks.
