You can create a monthly report for Tillväxtverket (The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth) using data from Sirvoy’s Statistics page. This feature is only available if your business is located in Sweden according to your contact details.

Before Generating Your Report

To ensure your report is accurate, keep the following points in mind:

• Room type setup: Use room types only for accommodations. Add-ons like extra beds should be set up as Extras to avoid inaccurate reports.
• Supported accommodation types: Sirvoy supports Tillväxtverket reports for hotels, holiday villages, and youth hostels, but not for campsites or private cottages/apartments.

Generating the Tillväxtverket Report

Follow these steps to create your report:

1. Go to the Statistics page.
2. Click Filters and select the date range. Reports must always cover a full month and include every day of that month.
3. Click Generate file for Tillväxtverket.
4. Fill in the required fields, including:
   • VAT rates
   • Breakfast cost (to deduct)
5. Click Download, and the file will be saved to you device automatically
6. Log in to Tillväxtverket’s website and upload the text file.

Purpose of Stay in Tillväxtverket Reports

The Purpose of Stay feature is included in Tillväxtverket reports to specify why a guest is staying at your property.

• If Purpose of Stay is set to Not set, the field will appear blank in the report.
• Selecting Other excludes the booking from the report. This applies to cases such as asylum accommodation, staff lodging, social services, or owner bookings.
• By default, Purpose of Stay is set to Pleasure. If a booking has a different purpose, you must update this field manually in the Booking’s Details Page to ensure the report is accurate. 

How to Collect Purpose of Stay Data

To streamline reporting, you can collect Purpose of Stay information directly from guests when they book through the Booking Engine. Here’s how to make this field required:

1. Go to Settings > Booking engines > Default fields.
2. Set Purpose of Stay as Required.
3. Click Save to finalize.

This is highly recommended for Swedish users, as reporting this information to Tillväxtverket is mandatory.
