Create booking engines for specific room types or just extras
How to create additional booking engines with Sirvoy Pro that offer a curated selection of room types or extras.

With Sirvoy Pro, you can create booking engines tailored to different needs—like offering just a few room types or letting guests book extras without needing to book a room.
Tip: You can manually create a booking with only extras from the New Booking page, as long as the extra is available on the selected dates.
Offer only certain room types
Want a booking engine that only shows specific rooms—like those meant for wedding guests? Here's how to set that up:
- Go to Settings > Booking engines and click New booking engine.
- Under Bookable items, choose Selected room types and extras.
- Toggle on the room types you want to include.
- Adjust any other settings, then click Save.
Note: The default booking engine—always the first one in the list—can’t be limited. It always shows all room types and extras.
Offer only extras (no rooms)
You can also create a booking engine just for selling extras—like bike rentals or event tickets—without offering any rooms.
1. Set up your extras
To appear in a booking engine without rooms, each extra needs the right settings. Go to Settings > Extras and check:
- The Max per booking must not be:
- One per guest
- One per guest per night
- One per room
- One per room per night
- Internal extra must be OFF.
- Bookable with must be set to All room types.
2. Create the extras-only booking engine
- Go to Settings > Booking engines and click New booking engine.
- Under Bookable items, choose either:
- All extras, without room types or
- Selected extras, without room types
- If needed, toggle on the extras you want to offer.
- Adjust any other settings, then click Save.
Notes:
- Extra-only booking engines create separate bookings. These bookings are unique and not automatically linked to a guest’s stay. If needed, you can group them with the guest’s main booking.
- If all room types are closed using Stay restrictions, extras can’t be booked. Manually blocked rooms via the Calendar or Accommodation pages won’t impact extras.
