If you're handing over ownership of a Sirvoy account, both the outgoing and incoming owners should follow these steps to ensure a secure and complete transition.


Outgoing owner

The outgoing owner is the current account holder who is transferring ownership. All steps in this section should be completed before the incoming owner begins.

Disconnect third-party services

  1. Update connected booking channels by logging in and following their ownership transfer process
  2. Add a Sirvoy Vault authentication device for the new owner and remove other devices at Settings > Financials > Sirvoy Vault
  3. Disable auto-refill at Settings > Sirvoy account > Auto-Refill

Update financial details

  1. Delete saved credit cards at Settings > Sirvoy account > Refill
  2. Remove banking information at Settings > Financials > Invoicing module
  3. Disconnect Stripe or PayPal at Settings > Financials > Card payments, or contact them directly to request an account transfer instead. Disconnecting from a payment provider permanently deletes all stored credit cards.

Update users and account details

  1. Update contact details at Settings > Sirvoy account > Contact details
  2. Export booking history from Settings > Sirvoy account > Export
  3. Update the main admin (the user profile with a star) with the new owner's name and email
  4. Delete any unneeded users at Settings > Users
  5. Set a temporary password (or share the existing one) at User Profile > Password

Incoming owner

The incoming owner is the new account holder taking over responsibility for the Sirvoy account. These steps should be completed only after the outgoing owner has finished their section of this guide.

Secure the account

  1. Change the password at User Profile > Password

Review account details

  1. Confirm the main admin user profile is accurate
  2. Verify contact information at Settings > Sirvoy account > Contact details
  3. Delete unnecessary users at Settings > Users

Update financial info

  1. Add banking information at Settings > Financials > Invoicing module
  2. Review payment setup at Settings > Sirvoy account > Refill
