Setting up dormitory accommodations in Sirvoy is similar to creating any other room type, with just a few unique settings. The dorm room should be the room type, and the individual beds should be added as rooms within it. 

Follow the steps below to get started:

Step 1: Create a room type for the dorm

1. Go to Settings > Accommodations and click Add New
2. Enter a name for the dormitory, such as "Backpacker Dorm" or “Shared Dorm”
3. In the Class field, select Bed to indicate that each item is a bed rather than a full room
4. Set Number of guests to 1, and set Extra beds to 0
5. Adjust other settings as needed, just as you would for any other room type
6. Click Save

Step 2: Add beds as rooms

1. Go back to Settings > Accommodations
2. Next to the dorm room you’ve just created, click New Room
3. Assign a unique Room ID, such as "Bed 1," "Bed 2," etc
4. Repeat this step for each bed in the dorm

Once all beds are added, your dorm room setup is complete, and the beds will be ready for bookings.
