How to add and manage two-factor authentication devices for secure access to Sirvoy Vault.
Table of Contents
To protect credit card details stored in Sirvoy Vault, two-factor authentication (2FA) is required. This means logging in with your password isn't enough—you'll also need to verify your identity through an additional device.
We recommend registering at least two devices, with at least one under your business's control (not tied to a single employee) to ensure continued access.
Set up a new authentication device
- Go to Settings > Financials.
- Under Sirvoy Vault, click Activate.
- Enter a unique name for the device so you can identify it later.
- Choose your authentication method: Google Authenticator (recommended) or mobile phone.
Google Authenticator (recommended)
- A QR code will appear on the screen.
- Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone and scan the QR code.
- Enter the verification code from the app and click Next.
Mobile phone
- Enter your phone number, beginning with + and country code.
- Click Next to receive a verification code via SMS.
- Enter the code and click OK.
Add additional authentication devices
- Go to Settings > Financials.
- Under Sirvoy Vault, click Authenticate.
- Choose an already registered device and click OK.
- Enter the verification code and click OK. This gives you 15 minutes of access to add devices.
- Click Add new authentication device.
- Follow the same steps as above to add the new device.
