Booking Engine Settings: A Quick Guide
Learn how to adjust the booking window, terms and conditions link, availability calendar, and room selection for your Sirvoy booking engine.

Sirvoy’s booking engine is highly customizable, allowing you to adjust its settings to meet your business needs. This guide walks you through the key features you can edit for an individual booking engine.
Accessing Booking Engine Settings
Follow these steps to access the settings for a specific booking engine:
- Go to Settings > Booking Engines.
- Click the three dots in the same row as the booking engine you want to edit.
- In the drop-down list, click Edit.
Key Settings You Can Edit
1. Booking Window
Control how close to check-in or how far in advance guests can book.
- Minimum days in advance: Define the minimum lead time for bookings. For example, setting "0 days" and "10:00" allows same-day bookings until 10:00 AM.
- Maximum days in advance: Set the maximum number of days in advance that bookings are allowed. For example, entering "365 days" enables bookings up to a year ahead.
Note: These settings apply to Sirvoy's booking engine, Booking.com, and Airbnb. For other connected booking channels, make changes directly in your account on those platforms.
2. Terms and Conditions
You can require guests to accept your terms and conditions during the booking process by adding a checkbox. To set this up, enter the URL to your terms and conditions in the T&C link field.
Guests will see a checkbox during the booking process and must tick it to proceed.
Tip: Use automated messages to send your terms and conditions or other important details to guests after booking.
3. Availability Calendar
Choose how the availability calendar is displayed in your booking engine to inform guests about room availability.
Options include:
- Hide: Do not show the availability calendar.
- Collapsed: Show the calendar in a minimized view that guests can expand.
- Expanded: Show the calendar in a fully expanded view.
4. Room Choice
Allow guests to choose their specific room when booking:
- Required: Guests must select a specific room.
- Optional: Guests can select a room but are not required to do so.
- Hide: Guests cannot select a specific room.
If a guest does not or cannot select a room, rooms will be allocated automatically based on the Room assignment setting in the Booking Engine General Options.
