Stay updated on new bookings by setting up notifications via email or SMS.


Steps to Enable New Booking Notifications

  1. Go to Settings > Booking Engines > New booking notifications.
  2. Enter an email address or phone number to receive notifications
  3. Click Add if you need to enter multiple emails or numbers.
  4. Toggle on Send notifications for bookings made by front desk to get alerts for bookings created by your front desk team.
  5. Click Save to apply the settings.
     

Note: Enter phone numbers without spaces or dashes to ensure proper delivery.

 

When Notifications Are Sent

Email and SMS notifications are sent under different circumstances:

  • Email Notifications: Sent for all bookings, whether they come from booking engines, booking channels, or are manually created by your front desk team.
  • SMS Notifications: Sent for bookings made through booking engines only. Each SMS incurs a small fee. On the New Booking Notifications page, click the question mark icon to see the cost based on your plan and currency.
