Connect Sirvoy to BookVisit or Citybreak Partners
How to connect your Sirvoy account to BookVisit, either directly or through a Citybreak (Visitgroup) partner, to sync availability, rates, and reservations.
Table of Contents
Sirvoy’s channel manager connects directly with BookVisit to keep your availability, rates, and reservations in sync. This connection includes bookings made through:
- The BookVisit booking engine.
- Citybreak (Visitgroup) partners like STF, Gotland Promotion, and Destination Österlen.
- Other connected channels like Despegar, HRS, and GDS.
There are two ways to connect to BookVisit:
- Direct connection: You manage your own BookVisit account and set up rooms and rates yourself.
- Partner connection: A Citybreak (Visitgroup) partner sets up your BookVisit account and provides your BookVisit ID.
Tip: Contact us anytime for help setting up.
Before you start
No matter how you connect, make sure:
- You have a BookVisit ID from your Citybreak partner if you're connecting through them, or from your own account if you're connecting directly.
- Your room types and rate plans are set up in BookVisit.
- If you're working with a Citybreak partner, they’ll handle this for you.
- A unit price is added to each rate plan.
BookVisit supports three rate plan types:
| BookVisit term | Sirvoy equivalent |
| Price per Unit | Fixed price – Price is the same no matter how many guests are staying |
| Price per Guest | Flexible price – Price is based on how many guests are staying |
| Unit + additional guest price | Fixed price – Price is the same no matter how many guests are staying, but includes extra guest pricing set in BookVisit |
Notes:
- Bookings made before the connection must be imported manually. Bookings made after mapping will import automatically.
- If you're switching from Citybreak Easy Access, any bookings already in Sirvoy will need to be updated manually if the guest makes changes.
Connect your Sirvoy and BookVisit accounts
- Go to Settings > Channels > BookVisit

- Our team will review the connection and contact you
- Return to Settings > Channels > BookVisit

Mapping tips and limitations
- For multiple rate plans (like breakfast included, non-refundable), create duplicate room types in Sirvoy—one for each additional rate plan.
- Derived rate plans can’t be mapped in Sirvoy. Manage them in BookVisit.
- Package with its own rates should be mapped as price per guest.
- Packages using the options Package with linked rate plan and Copy existing package cannot be mapped to Sirvoy.
Before you go
Here are a few important things to note or double-check after connecting:
Taxes and pricing:
- Make sure taxes and percentage surcharges match between Sirvoy and BookVisit.
- If you’re using flexible pricing, a BookVisit rate’s Number of standard beds must match the total occupancy (Number of guests + Extra beds) in its mapped Sirvoy room type.
- Sirvoy’s fixed room price is used as the base rate in BookVisit. Extra guest charges (adults/children) must be configured in BookVisit.
Payments:
- BookVisit will no longer show guest payment details.
- Activate Sirvoy Vault to store payment details in Sirvoy, and enable Stripe to store and charge those details.
Guests and extras:
- Extras are imported into Sirvoy with the booking. But if the guest later modifies extras, you’ll need to update those manually in Sirvoy.
- Children and infants are not included in the guest count, but are noted in the booking comment in Sirvoy.
Other notes:
- Double bookings are rare but can happen—act quickly to resolve them.
- Bookings may occasionally be split across multiple rooms.
