Exceptions:

To avoid availability problems and ensure booking details stay in sync, we strongly recommend making changes or cancellations directly in the channel, not Sirvoy. Changes made on booking channels will sync with Sirvoy automatically.

If you choose to make changes in Sirvoy, keep the following in mind:

  • The channel will not receive updates made in Sirvoy.
  • If you cancel a booking in Sirvoy first, and the guest later cancels it on the channel, availability issues or overbookings may occur.

Exceptions:

  • Expedia: You can mark a booking as canceled in Expedia Partner Central. However, Expedia will not notify Sirvoy, so you’ll need to cancel the booking manually in Sirvoy too.
  • iCal channels: These channels send very limited booking data. Details like room price, occupancy, guest names, and credit card info are not shared. Any changes to these details on the iCal channel won't be sent to Sirvoy.
