Restore a cancelled booking
Important: Make sure there’s an available room that can accommodate the booking.
We’ll try to restore the booking to its original room or room type, but if those aren’t available, you’ll need to move it to an available room manually.
To restore a cancelled booking:
- Open the cancelled booking
- Click Restore booking
- Click OK to confirm
Depending on room availability, you’ll see one of these messages:
- Booking restored successfully The same rooms are still available, so the booking is restored as it was.
- Booking restored successfully, but rooms were changed The original rooms aren’t available, but other rooms in the same room type are. The booking is restored using those instead.
- Booking restored, but no rooms available in the original room type. Assign a different room to fix the overbooking. No rooms from the original room type are available. The booking’s room is replaced with Unavailable or removed.
Fix missing rooms in a restored booking
If one or more rooms couldn’t be restored, you’ll need to update the booking manually:
- Inside the booking, click the Repair icon (wrench) next to the affected room row.
- Select a new room from the Change to dropdown.
- Choose whether to turn Update prices on or off. It controls whether the booking should use the new room’s price or keep the original room’s price.
- Click Save.
