Understand the Statistics Page
How to interpret each statistic shown on the Statistics page, with examples based on a sample week to help you understand how each number is calculated.

The Statistics page shows key performance data to help you monitor your property’s performance, both financially and operationally. It includes insights on revenue, occupancy, guest flow, booking sources, and more.
While it includes some of the same data as the Accounting Report, it organizes that data differently, as explained in Understand the Statistics vs. Accounting Report.
Filter the data shown on the Statistics page
Click the Filter button at the top of the page to choose what data is included. You can:
- Set a Timeframe using a From and To date.
- Select specific room types.
- Choose whether or not to include extras.
- Choose which of your Sirvoy accounts to include.
Click Apply to refresh the page with the filtered data. All metrics will be based on your selections.
Our example scenario
To help explain how each metric on the Statistics page works, we’ll use the same example week throughout this article. When you see an example, it’s based on the details here.
In this scenario, both bookings were created on Monday:
- Room 1: Booked Tuesday to Thursday (2 nights) at $100/night.
- Room 2: Booked Wednesday to Friday (2 nights) at $200/night.
- Room 3: Not booked.

Invoicing and payments
- Room 1: Invoice issued on Tuesday. 50% paid on Wednesday by bank transfer; the rest paid two weeks later.
- Room 2: Paid in full at check-in. Cash receipt issued on Wednesday.
- Room 3: No booking, no activity.
Key Metrics
Value
What was earned based on when the stay occurred, regardless of when you invoiced or got paid.
Example:
- Wednesday: $300 ($100 Room 1 + $200 Room 2).
- Tuesday & Wednesday: $400 ($100 Room 1 on both days + $200 Room 2 on Wednesday).
Average Daily Rate (ADR)
Average room revenue per room night sold (excludes extras and surcharges).
Example:
- Wednesday: $150 = $300 ÷ 2 nights.
- Tuesday & Wednesday: $133.33 = $400 ÷ 3 nights.
Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR)
Room revenue spread across all available rooms, even if some were unbooked or blocked.
Example:
- Wednesday: $100 = $300 ÷ 3 rooms.
- Tuesday & Wednesday: $66.67 = $400 ÷ 6 room-days.
Invoicing
Cash receipts
Amounts for which a cash receipt was issued during the selected timeframe.
Example:
- Wednesday: $400 (Room2).
- Other days: $0
Invoices
Total value of invoices created during the selected timeframe—regardless of stay dates or payment timing.
Example:
- Tuesday: $200 (Room1).
- Other days: $0
Invoice Payments
Actual payments received during the timeframe that are linked to an invoice, even if the invoice was issued earlier or later.
Example:
- Wednesday: $100 (Room1 partial payment).
- Other days: $0
Payments
All payments registered in the selected timeframe, grouped by payment method. Includes both linked (to invoices) and standalone payments.
Example:

- Cash Receipts (Default): $400 (Room2).
- Bank transfer: $100 (Room1 partial payment).
- All others: $0
- Other days: $0
Occupancy during this timeframe
Usage
Percentage of booked room nights relative to all available room nights (includes blocked rooms).
Example:
- Tuesday: 33% = 1 night booked ÷ 3 available.
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 50% = 3 booked ÷ 6 available.
Guests
Guests who checked in during the selected timeframe.
Example:
- Tuesday: 2 (Room1).
- Wednesday: 2 (Room2).
- Other days: 0
Guest nights
Guest count × number of nights stayed during the selected timeframe.
Example:
- Tuesday: 2
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 6 (2 on Tuesday + 4 on Wednesday).
Room nights
Number of rooms used per night during the selected timeframe.
Example:
- Tuesday: 1 (Room1).
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 3 (Room1 on both days + Room2 on Wednesday).
Bookings created in this timeframe
New bookings
Total bookings created during the selected timeframe.
Example:
- Monday: 2
- Other days: 0
Source
Where bookings came from—like your website, Expedia, or the front desk (your team).
Made by
Who created the bookings—such as guests (online) or the specific users on your team.
Charts
The chart view lets you visualize data over time. You can display:
- Total number of rooms.
- Number of guests.
Nationalities
What it shows: Where your guests are from and how long they stayed, based on the selected timeframe.
