Refund booking payments

You can issue or record refunds directly from the booking details page in Sirvoy.
Refund a Stripe payment
If you use Stripe as your payment provider, you can refund charges directly in Sirvoy.
- Open the booking.
- Click the arrow icon for the Stripe payment you want to refund.
- Confirm the amount (change if refunding partially)
- Click Refund now.
The refund will appear as a new payment line. It can take up to one week for the guest to see it on their bank statement.
Record a manual refund
You can also record a refund for payments you added manually, for example, to correct an error or track a refund made outside Sirvoy.
- Open the booking.
- Click the arrow icon for the payment you want to record a refund for.
- Confirm the amount (change if refunding partially).
- Select the refund method.
- Click Save.
The refund will appear as a new payment line.
Note: This only creates a record of the refund. You must process the actual refund manually through your payment provider.
Refund PayPal payments
PayPal refunds must be made directly in PayPal. Once refunded there, Sirvoy automatically records it in the booking.
