The guest portal is a self-service page where guests can review their booking details and, depending on your settings, self check-in, cancel their bookings, or make payments. It can reduce support requests by providing guests access to basic booking functions without needing to contact your team.
How does the guest portal work?
You can embed the guest portal on your website or share a link to it—for example, in the booking confirmation email. You can also add a personal touch by customizing the Guest Portal Intro with a welcome message for your guests.
To look up their booking, guests use their Booking ID and last name.
Depending on your settings, guests can:
- View their booking details (always available)
- Check in by themselves (depending on guest portal settings)
- Cancel the booking (depending on guest portal settings)
- Securely add a card for future payments (available if your property uses Stripe)
- Pay an outstanding balance or deposit (depending on payment settings)
